Chenelle Monique is a loving wife and mother above all things. She is a professional dancer, choreographer, model, actress and fitness enthusiast.
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Chenelle started out her active lifestyle playing sports like baseball, basketball, soccer and karate before she found her love of performing through acting, modeling and dancing at an early age. Most recently she has been seen performing with recording artists like Alex Boye, Mindy Gledhill, Flava Flav, Talain Rayne, Sean Cannon, Scott & Brendo and more. She has been featured in numerous commercials and ad campaigns for companies like Ford, NordicTrack, Mattel,, The Dirty Dash, Vooray, Vasa Fitness, Gold’s Gym, Albion Fit, Utah Hair Restoration, Stein Eriksen Lodge, Fresh Cabbage Apps, and, just to name a few. As a public figure and ambassador for all things dance, health, fitness and beauty related she has appeared in many feature films as well as local, national, and international televised media on many occasions and has appeared on Americas Got Talent, CNN, ESPN, TNT, Disney Channel, Consumer Reports, MTV, Vh1, in Dance Spirit Magazine, and on numerous blog sites. Chenelle has also appeared live and done voiceover work on many local/national/international radio stations. Chenelle has danced and presented as a host, spokesmodel and ambassador at fitness conventions all over the world from Los Angeles to Australia.
Chenelle was able to combine her love of sports and dance by becoming a member of the Harley Davidson Utah Blaze Dance Team where she spent two seasons (2008-10) and served as team captain. Chenelle later spent 3 seasons (2010-13) as a NuSkin Utah Jazz Dancer where she enjoyed the opportunity to work with many skilled choreographers and dancers. While with the team, she was one of a select few chosen to travel throughout the US, Europe and Asia to perform at NBA tournaments and events, judge international dance competitions, teach dance clinics, and work closely with the media. She most recently returned from her second tour of China with the China Hoops CBA draft tour, dancing for the USA showcase team for which she also coached and choreographed, and continues to direct. Her involvement in the sports entertainment industry throughout her professional career has greatly influenced her teaching methods and athletic choreography.
Chenelle has been hired as a choreographer for some of the most competitive studios; many top placing soloists, and several junior high/high school dance companies and drill teams in the Western U.S. In the summer of 2012, she had the opportunity to work with underprivileged youth from surrounding leprosy colonies and slums teaching life skills, through the art of dance while on a humanitarian mission in India with The Rising Star Outreach. This experience has greatly influenced her teaching approach, and you will find that her classes teach much more than just choreography and movement. Chenelle has taught at several camps and conventions locally, nationally and internationally, and continues to share her passion for life through all styles of dance by teaching weekly at Millennium Dance Complex Salt Lake City, and in master classes all over the world.
