Gianni Howell, originally from South Florida, now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada as a dance artist in Cirque Du Soleil’s, The Beatles “LOVE.” Previous to joining the circus, Gianni was a company member with Odyssey Dance Theatre based out of Salt Lake City, Utah where he toured the European World in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, and France. He has earned a bachelors degree in Fine Arts with a complimenting minor in Business from the University of Arizona. While at the university, he had the opportunity to perform pieces and work with artist such as Ann Reinking, Sherry Zunker, Ernie Flatt, and Sam Watson, to name a few. Gianni has opened for artists like Savion Glover and performed alongside Liza Minnelli in her “Off Broadway” tour. In 2010, Gianni was the highest awarded tap dancer by The National YoungArts Foundation. Outside of Cirque Du Soleil, Gianni travels between the Americas and Canada teaching and choreographing for the next generation of dancers. He has been recognized for his unique and innovative style of tap and contemporary. Gianni sees dance as a constant expansion of the mind and wishes to push that concept to his audience and fellow artists.
